Many people reach a crossroads in their lives where the patterns and habits that were once adopted as tools of survival become maladaptive and even harmful. When one finds oneself at this exciting place of awareness, therapy can be a helpful practice to support change, introspection, and honest self-reflection in the process of change.
Whether we find ourselves in cycles of stress, anxiety, depression, or discomfort that can seem endless, or the weight of everyday pressures are building, even if the issues are rooted more deeply in the psyche, these experiences can be addressed compassionately in the safety of the carefully crafted therapeutic container.
The name Lotus Seed Therapies was chosen because the lotus seed is known for its longevity. Even after 20,000 years, lotus seeds have been known to still germinate. As well, the lotus seed requires mud, muck, and darkness to germinate. In the dark of the mire, the lotus seed germinates and reaches upward out of the darkness toward the light. I consider this a powerful metaphor for the practice of therapy, from the depths we germinate, grow, and eventually bloom in the sunlight.
At Lotus Seed Therapies, we offer personalized therapies to promote the practices of self-reflection, disciplined commitment to one’s therapy goals, inclusion of the body’s needs in therapy, and a depth-oriented therapeutic approach that considers the whole being in the context of their environment.
Lotus Seed Therapies started with a simple vision: to offer a sanctuary for healing and psychological wellbeing in Southern Oregon. After working in private practice for 10 years, I wanted to expand my practice to serve the many clients I had to turn away due to my practice consistently being full. In 2024, Lotus Seed Therapies was started with the intention of hiring more therapists and associate therapists to better serve the communities of Southern Oregon. We embrace every individual’s journey to wellness with open hearts and professional care. Nestled in the heart of the Grants Pass community, our small team brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to our work.
What sets us apart is our commitment to personalized therapy. We believe that no two paths of healing are the same, and our individually tailored approaches ensures that every session is as unique as the individuals we serve. At Lotus Seed Therapies, we’re more than a team; we are your partners on your unique healing journey.
Lotus Seed Therapies is expanding! We are looking for passionate practitioners who are committed to making a difference. If you’re interested in joining a supportive and dynamic team, we’d love to hear from you.
