Lindsey Smaw is a Professional Counselor Associate, committed to approaching therapy collaboratively and utilizing a holistic approach to mental health. She studied Psychology at University of Oregon and then earned her Master of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Capella University. As a holistic therapist, she believes it is essential to understand the interconnectedness of the mind, body, and spirit, in order to strengthen wellbeing and foster growth. Her approach is grounded in fostering a safe environment for self-exploration, with compassion and non-judgement. She integrates evidence-based therapies that consider each individual’s needs, focusing on changing thoughts and behaviors, implementing healthy coping skills, and building on strengths, self-compassion, and self-care. She is committed to professional development and strives to continue her education and knowledge through various workshops, training, and books.
Lindsey grew up in the Rogue Valley and now enjoys spending time with her own family of five! When she is not working, she loves reading, beach trips, being outdoors, and attending community events.
